Glacier surface carved with pick-axe, filled with volcanic ash.
Short film composed and filmed while working as a camera assistant for the artist Ane Lopez on the Icelandic Vatnajökull glacier in 2017. Winner of the 2017 video-book competition put out by the Camões Institute, the film consists of the protagonist carving the word 'Temer,' (Portuguese 'fear’, also the name of the then Brazilian president partly responsible for the impeachment of the former president, Dilma Rousseff) in the side of the glacier with volcanic ash.
The sound consists of a reading of Augusto de Campos' Poesia Concreta: Um Manifesto.
